As part of Shark Week, a week with a line-up of programmes entirely dedicated to sharks, mascots dressed up as sharks walked along the most iconic beaches of the Caparica Coast. A total of 60 kilometres were covered and more than 1,000 "bolas de berlim" were handed out, conveying the idea that sharks are not dangerous and can live with us.
